Collocations :
A sequence of words that co occur more often
كلمات تتكرر مع بعض غالبآ
مثل:
-the fast train/the quick (x)train
-the fast food/quick (x)food
-a quick shower /fast (x)shower
-a quick meal /a fast(x) meal
-strong tea/powerful(x)tea
-Powerful computer/strong (x)computer
Weak tea/feeble(x)tea-
في اللغة الانجليزية كلمات تأتي مع بعض وتكون معنى معين
ويكون المعنى الصحيح مرتبط بكلمه معينه مثلfast foodلا يكون المعنى صحيحا لو قلنا quick foodمع ان الكلمتين بنفس الترجمه (سريع)ولكنها تختلف اذا ارتبطت بكلمه اخرى
المعنى هنا في الامثله السابقه الجمل التي عليها علامة(x) وملونة بالاحمر فهي خاطئه
وهذه امثلة أخرى من الكلمات المرتبطه ببعض

من انواع ارتباط الكلمات :الظرف مع الصفة وكلمة decoratedمنتهيه بـ edوهي
ليست فعل ماضي انما هي في التصريف الثالث للفعل ويستخدم التصريف الثالث كـــــ صفه
2-n+n:bars of soap
3-adj+n:regular exercise
4-n+v:snow was falling /dog barking
5-v+n:committing murder/do homework /make my bed
6-v+adj : placed gently
7-v+expressions with prepositions

Define hyponym ; give examples:
Oak is hyponym of tree
(tree=hypernym)
Dog is hyponym of animal
Animal=hypernym

Structure is a hyponym of thing
